Kjirstin grew up in Itasca county, from her childhood in Marble to teenage years in Coleraine and Grand Rapids. After high school she relocated to Duluth in order to attend cosmetology school and become a licensed hairstylist, then returning to Grand Rapids to begin her career ion that profession for several years. She also began to get involved in the real estate business as an assistant to her mom, Paula Broten-Piskel, along with pursuing other endeavors, such as interior design classes – a perfect fit for her future goals of becoming a Realtor.
 
With her combined background of real estate and interior design, Kjirstin has an ability to see the potential in properties while helping others to realize it as well. When you work with Kjirstin, you and your needs are sure to feel seen, heard and understood. She believes there is a perfect property for every person, and she will do whatever it takes to help her client find it.
 
When she is not working, Kjirstin enjoys experimenting with her personal style, hiking and spending time along the north shore with her fiancé Nick and their two cattle dogs, Lorelai and Rory.
